Welcome to the holiday apartment Zillertal - Bacher in Schlitters, the ideal base for your holidays in the Zillertal. Situated directly at the entrance of the Zillertal on the outskirts of Schlitters, the accommodation enjoys a prime setting directly at the village road within easy reach of the nearest train station of the Zillertalbahn. Our house has ample space for two to four persons in a homely atmosphere. A Jacuzzi and an infrared cabin invite you to relax after an enjoyable day of hiking or skiing in the Zillertal. The holiday apartment has 80 m² and a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with rain shower, WC and washbasin, and has direct access to a sunny terrace with a fabulous view of the Zillertal mountains. Amenities include satellite TV and free Wi-Fi, and for our very young guests baby equipment is available on request. Free parking is available directly in front of the house, and your skiing or hiking equipment can be conveniently stored in our house. Schlitters is the perfect base to explore the entire Zillertal. All Zillertal ski areas are within easy reach of the Zillertalbahn railway and the ski buses. The ski areas Hochzillertal, Hochfügen and Spieljoch, for example, can be reached within a maximum of 20 minutes. The ski areas Zillertal Arena in Zell am Ziller or the Hintertux Glacier are easily accessible from Schlitters by public transport or car. Ice skating rinks, toboggan runs, plus winter hiking and walking trails in the vicinity complete the varied winter offer. If you are looking for more water fun beyond your Jacuzzi experience, you can visit the water fun park “Erlebnistherme Zillertal” in Fügen, which is only a 5-minute drive away. In summer, numerous hiking and biking tours to the hiking area Maria Brettfall, to the Schlittererberg, to Hart in the Zillertal or to the Spieljoch start directly on your doorstep. The Schlitterer bathing lake is only a few minutes’ walk away and features an adventure playground for young guests as well as tennis and football facilities. Another highlight is an excursion to the Schlitterer waterfall at the end of the Öxltal. Fans of old travel methods will enjoy a nostalgic tour with the old steam train of the Zillertalbahn, which stops directly in Schlitters and travels back and forth to Mayrhofen from Wednesday to Sunday in summer. Or how about a trip to the Inntal valley, for example to the old town of Innsbruck, to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds or to the Schwaz silver mine? – These attractions are only a short drive from the accommodation.
