Gasthof Alpenrose The Gasthof Alpenrose in the Habachtal is the starting point for mineral seekers. The Habachtal is home to the only emerald deposit in Europe. The Alpenrose lies at 1,386 metres above the sea level, accessible by valley taxi or on foot - hiking time approx. 2 hours. Our Gasthof is open from mid-May until mid-October. Enjoy your holidays in a cosy atmosphere. Our kitchen (all day) spoils you with local specialities and pastries. We have 35 beds ready for you to stay overnight, as well as a mattress dormitories (common room) for approx. 30 people. We also have a beautiful shower room and a drying room for shoes and clothing.
