Location of the accommodation The Präau-Gut is located one kilometer south of Dorfgastein, in the middle of untouched Salzburg nature. Despite the phenomenal quiet location, it is only 1 kilometer to the ski area Dorfgastein-Großarl & 8 kilometers to the ski area Schlossalm-Stubnerkogel as well as to the Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein. Description The Präau-Gut is home to an apartment - Gamskarlblick - 50 m2 and thus offers space for 2 to 5 people each. Arriving in the apartment, the first thing you will notice is the woodwork, which has been carefully crafted by the master carpenter. Be it kitchen cabinets, ceiling linings or shelves, everything seems new and cleanly worked in. The rooms are all furnished in a friendly manner, warm colors have been chosen for the upholstery, both of the sitting area and the sofa. Here, homey atmosphere meets rustic flair and creates a feeling of home - and that on vacation! On request, you can also buy home-made products such as jams, liqueurs, farmhouse bread, alpine cheese, eggs and much more directly from the Rieser family. In the apartment you are also equipped with a modern kitchen, including refrigerator, oven and dishwasher, microwave, coffee filter machine, freezer, toaster, kettle & WLAN. In the Präau-Gut there is also a double room (without board) with private bathroom, minibar, TV, WLAN & kettle. Summer in Gastein For hiking enthusiastic guests of the Präau-Gut the hike to the Präau-Hochalm is just perfect: Far away from any inconvenience of modern times, where not even a lift goes, you will find the over 150 years old Hochalm. After a hike of 2.5 - 3 hours, you can fortify yourself here with a rustic alpine snack before starting the return hike. Winter in Gastein The Ski amadé areas Dorfgastein-Großarl & Schlossalm-Stubnerkogel are in close proximity. If you want to try an activity away from the pistes and cross-country skiing trails, the summit of the Fulseck is the place to be: you can book guided snowshoe hikes on a newly created snowshoe trail, which is especially suitable for beginners and nature lovers.
