The house is located in the centre of Badbruck (870 m) - a small, traditional Austrian village in the Gastein Valley, only 60 minutes drive from Salzburg. Badbruck is a district at the foot of the famous ski and spa town of Bad Gastein (1002 m), known for its unique architecture, the fantastic ski runs and of course the thermal spa landscapes (rock spa in Bad Gastein, Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein).   The house has a sunny location and offers you a view of the Gastein mountains. The gondola lifts can be reached in 5-7 bus or car minutes as an entrance to a ski area with over 200 kilometres of pistes for each performance level in the Destination Gasteintal. There is a free ski bus, the stop is 200 metres from the house. Good to know for those who love unlimited skiing pleasure: The Gastein Valley is part of the extensive Amadé ski area - with over 800 km of slopes, the largest ski network in Austria. The 18-hole golf course with its beautiful mountain panorama is just 300 metres away. The riding stable with a wide range of activities (e.g. therapeutic educational riding, volteging, horseback riding, individual lessons) is within walking distance. Tennis courts (sand floor) are located in Badbruck, Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein as well as indoor courts in Bad Bruck and Bad Hofgastein. The accommodation is conveniently located as a starting point for many hikes – e.g. Gasteiner Höhenweg, hike to the Poser Höhe, to the Kötschachtal or along the ground-level Gasteiner Achenweg. In summer, guests can take a dip in the nearby swimming lake. Are you looking forward to typical Austrian food and local drinks? The central location of the house will take you to Bad Gastein as well as to Bad Hofgastein in just 5 minutes. Dogs are only allowed by prior arrangement, the final cleaning is then increased by 20 EUR.
